The marking of Branch Loggers

the marking of branch loggers

The branch loggers marking consists of two parts. The first part is the letters which indicate the method of drive and machine arrangement. The second part is a numbers which indicate the size of the chipping device (the gap between shafts).

1. part- method of drive

SM with petrol engine
SMV with petrol engine and off road chassis
SMH with petrol engine and a road trailer with lighting kit and number plate bracket
EM with electric motor
TR behind the tractor (TR = tractor)
HM drive by hydraulci motor (HM = hydraulic motor)

2. part - size of the chipping device

70 Series "70" – the gaps between shafts is 70 mm (branch up to diameter 80 mm)
75

Series "70" – the gaps between shafts is 70 mm (branch up to diameter 80 mm)

number "5" means belt drive on machine TR75

110 Series "10" – the gaps between shafts is 110 mm (branch up to diameter 120 mm)
160 Series "160" – the gaps between shafts is 160 mm (branch up to diameter 180 mm)

For example

SMV70 – Branch loggers with branch diameter 80 mm have the petrol engine and the off road chassis.

TR110 – Branch logger with branch diameter 120 mm behind the tractor.

SMH110 – Branch logger with branch diameter 120 mm have the petrol engine and the road trailer with lighting kit and number plate bracket.
